27 diciembre why not apple use Levinstein distancei jus hav a ipod classic ( not a zune :( jus coz it got released late in india!! sorry billg!! forgiv me ;) )
bt then while browsing through ipods album list, i jus found a bug!! ( keep it up shiva!! u rock :P)
i saw the album listing in this order

( i do have a snap of th same taken thro ma sony walkman phone!! :P so its hard to excape apple ;) )
though u might not get th meaning of the albums coz, these are tamil song albums! bt jus look again, u jus saw a album with starting letr A in between albums wit M and N!!!! oh ma god!! wat hapnd to th sorting algo! or is it th display algo tat screwd!
one more thing which i noticed is, looked at ma list of artists i jus found

just that me missing a DOT in id3 tag for rahman doesnt mean tat he is a different guy! it jus struck me why not use the Levinstein distance to find nearest match Entries and ask user confirmation to map th entries to one! do it in th iTunes or do it in ipod! i dnt care! but just do it na! ;)
Levinstein distance was th technique which i refused to use in my under graduate proj to detect plagiarism, coz the semantic similarity that we brought from Latent semantic analysis, was geting screwed due to Levinstein distance which said "have" is nearly same as "gave"! but then i think i can bring back th same algo to help us now :D ;) 20 diciembre Why testing is requiredjust received a forward stating why testing is necessary

and th other important thing is th most annoying call which i get in th office.. damn th Big B#$#&s who sit in th customer care.. they even ring th extension no. my mobile no., in fact even the public booths tat kept thro out th company!

my neighbor is so chweet to any one calling her! once a god damn mF from customer care called her suggesting her to pick up an dash dash ( not bad word u can fill anything) policy.. she politely refused and said him tat she was busy then and asked him to call her aftr two weeks! n u wnt believ me, 2 weeks later same time th MF er called her ,.. his bad time it was me who answered th call.... aftrwards my extension never got calls from rogue customer care ppl..
its seriously annoying.. and believ me many face this too! |
